The pseudospike inflorescence is 4-10cm long, terminal, and composed of cymes with two flowers that are closely connected and biased to one side; the bracts are lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, with short soft hairs on the edges; the pedicel is about 2mm long; the calyx is bell-shaped, about 6mm long, with a hair ring in the throat, the calyx tube is about 4mm long, two-lipped, the upper lip has 3 teeth, the middle tooth is nearly round, the lateral teeth are triangular, and the lower lip has 2 teeth, lanceolate; the corolla is white, about 1.8cm in total length, the corolla tube is about 7mm long, the lip extends at right angles to the corolla tube, the middle lobe is ovate, slightly concave, the base is narrow, and the lateral lobes are lanceolate; there are 4 stamens, all protruding, the front pair is longer; the style is 1.2cm long, with two equal shallow lobes at the apex; the disk is small, disc-shaped, with a wavy edge. The nutlets are oval, reticulated, and the fusion surface accounts for 2/3 of the fruit length. Flowering period is from July to September.
