Rosette leaves solitary, 1-6cm in diameter; sessile or with a broad wing-like petiole extending downward; leaf blade oblanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, 5-30mm long, 2-6mm wide, obtuse or slightly acute at apex, usually with sparse serrations on margin above middle, short hairs and 2-4 forked hairs on upper surface and margin, nearly glabrous on lower surface. There are 1 to many scapes, erect, 7-25cm high, yellow-green, and slightly purple-red at the bottom. Both the pedicel and the scapula are covered with 2-4 forked hairs and short glandular hairs; the umbel has many flowers, and the bracts are numerous, linear-lanceolate, 2-3mm long; the pedicels are slender and unequal in length, 1-2cm long, and elongated to 2-6(-10)cm in fruiting period, covered with short glandular hairs; the calyx is bell-shaped or gyroid, about 2.5mm long, with obvious 5 edges and 5 shallow lobes, the lobes are narrowly triangular, split to 1/3 of the total length, with acute tips and darker colors than the tube; the corolla is white, high-footed saucer-shaped, with a diameter almost equal to that of the calyx, 5-lobed, the lobes are obovate-oblong, about 1.2mm long, 0.6mm wide, and nearly entire at the tip; the ovary is inverted conical, the style is 0.3mm long, and the stigma is capitate.
