[Original morphology] The main stem is upright and up to 30cm high. The branches are triangular-ovate, and the twigs have short white hairs. Leaves are dimorphic, with 2 rows on both sides and in the middle of the branches; lateral leaves are triangular-ovate, 2-2.5mm long, 0.5-1mm wide, rounded on the upper side of the base, attached to the branch on the lower side, with acute apex and entire margin; middle leaves are papery, lanceolate, about 1.5mm long, about 0.5mm wide, rounded on the upper side of the base, attached to the branch on the lower side, acuminate at the apex and entire. Sporangium spike solitary at the top of branch, 1.5-3mm long; sporophylls broadly ovate, about 2mm long, about 1mm wide, with entire margins. The sporangium is nearly spherical, and the positions of the large and small sporangium are not fixed.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: grows on hillside grasslands or forest edges.
