The leaves are finger-shaped or interdigitated compound leaves, alternate; the petiole is up to 15 cm long, and both the petiole and the petiole are covered with rusty soft hairs; there are 5 leaflets, the central leaflet is obovate or narrowly obovate, up to 19 cm long, about 9 cm wide, obtuse with a sharp tip at the apex, broadly cuneate or obtuse at the base, with serrated edges, the central petiole is 1.8-2.5 cm long, the lateral leaflets are about 8 cm long, obliquely ovate, asymmetrical on both sides, and the petioles are shorter. The leaf surface is covered with light red hairs along the veins, and the back is covered with brown soft hairs. Flowers are small, polygamous, and dioecious; corymbose cymes are axillary and pubescent; female sepals are pubescent or have nipples, 4 teeth; petals often have a small tip at the top, widely spread; stamens are 4, sterile, filaments are swollen at the base, disk is not obvious, and is fused with ovary base; ovary is 2-chambered, stigma is 4-lobed. The berries are fleshy.
