The berry is spherical, red when ripe, about 2 mm in diameter, with the base embedded in the inflorescence axis and fused with it, and with many warty protrusions on the surface. Flowering period is from April to June.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown in forests or moist lands at an altitude of 1100-2000m.
