[Original form] Blunt-toothed bell-shaped fragrance, small shrub, 1-2m high. Stems densely pubescent, much branched. Simple leaves are opposite; petiole is 1.5-2cm long and covered with short soft hairs; leaf blade is ovate, up to 8cm long and 5cm wide, with nearly acuminate tip and cordate base, covered with short soft hairs on both sides, and finely serrated edges. Inflorescence: cyme; bracts leaf-like to linear; calyx campanulate, with 5 calyx teeth, broadly triangular, without cusps; corolla yellow; pubescent outside; glabrous inside; middle lobe of lower lip of corolla with wavy to dentate teeth; style slightly protrudes from the inflorescence, ovary glabrous. The mature nutlets are dark brown, ovate-elliptical, and about 1 cm long including the wings. The flowering period is September-October, and the fruiting period is October-November.
