[Original form] Long-stemmed pomelo, a creeping herbaceous vine. The buds are cylindrical, 1-2mm thick, with 4 edges and many longitudinal stripes. Leaves are alternate; petiole is obovate, 1-2.2cm long, 0.5-0.9cm wide, obtuse at apex, without ears; leaf blade is thin leathery, light green, ovate-acicular, 6-11cm long, 2.5-4cm wide, gradually pointed at apex, almost caudate; 2 pairs of basal veins. Inflorescence stalk is axillary, reddish brown, 3.5-4cm long, obliquely ascending or slightly recurved, with 3-5 bracts at the base, imbricately arranged, with longitudinal stripes; spathe is short, ovate, acute, reddish brown, about 5mm long; spadix is ​​spherical, 4-8mm in diameter, light green to dark brown, with a stalk 3-6cm long; flowers are bisexual; tepals are 6, with arched inward-curved tips; stamens are 6, filaments are short, and the tips are suddenly narrowed to form a connective; anthers are short and longitudinally fissured outward; ovary is ovate, 3-chambered, with 1 ovule in each chamber. The berries are oval, obovate, red, and contain 1 to 9 seeds. Seeds flat oval. Flowering period is September.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown in dense forests in valleys at an altitude of 300-500m, epiphytic on rocks.

【Functions and indications】 Dispel wind and dampness; promote blood circulation and relax muscles. Mainly used for rheumatic bone pain and traumatic injuries

[Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoct 3-15g.
