[Original form] Perennial herb, 15-30cm high. The whole plant is covered with long, noded hairs. The stolons take root on the ground, and the stems are ascending and quadrangular. Leaves are opposite; petiole is 1.2-2.5cm long and pubescent; leaf blade is cordate, 2-4.2cm long, 1.9-3.8cm wide, with acute apex, usually with needle-like small tip, cordate base, serrated margin, and node-pubescent on both sides. The cyme usually has 3 flowers; the bracts are linear, about 4mm long, with ciliate margins; the calyx is simple, 1-1.2cm long, pubescent on the outside, with 5 calyx teeth, 3 teeth on the upper lip, which are longer, and 2 teeth on the lower lip, which are slightly shorter, with awn-shaped tips and ciliate margins; the corolla is pink or lavender, precious-shaped, 2-2.4cm long, sparsely pubescent on the outside, the upper lip is broadly ovate, concave at the apex, and the lobes on both sides are ovate; the stamens are 4, hidden, and the anthers are 2-chambered; the ovary is 4-lobed, the style is as long as the upper lip, and the stigma is 2-lobed; the disk is cup-shaped, finger-like and swollen in front. The nutlets are oblong, dark brown, with small pits. The flowering period is April-May, and the fruiting period is May-June.
