The two shells are equal, the right shell is flatter, the left shell is slightly convex, the shell top is extremely small, located in the center, and slightly tilted forward. There is a large wing-shaped protrusion on the front and back of the shell top, making the entire shell T-shaped. The inside of the shell where the viscera are located is brown-black in color and has a pearly luster. The rest of the body is similar in color to the shell.
