Traditional Chinese medicine culture is profound and extensive, and Chinese medicinal materials account for a large proportion of it. Do you know about Baijieteng? What are its effects and functions, and how to eat it? I believe many people are very interested in it. Let me tell you one by one below. [Other names] Golden thread wind, jelly vine, Jishan dragon, mountain bean root, green vine, clam vine, golden key, one-legged black cypress. [Source] Medicinal material source: the root or vine stem of the Menispermum officinale plant of the Menispermaceae family. [Original form] A twining vine with pink leaves in whorls. The roots are thick, cylindrical and curved, 1-2 cm in diameter, and have a gray-brown outer skin. The old stems have thick, twisted longitudinal stripes, and the branchlets are slender, glabrous except for tufts of hair in the leaf axils or branches. Simple leaves are alternate; petioles are slender, 1.5-4cm long; leaf blades are thin papery, broadly ovate-triangular to ovate, 2.5-7cm long, 1.5-5cm wide, acuminate at apex, nearly truncate to rounded at base, entire, glabrous on both sides or covered with sparse white long hairs beneath. Inflorescence axillary; flowers unisexual, dioecious; male inflorescences arranged in interrupted spikes by cymes, axis of inflorescence unbranched or sometimes with short branches near base, slender, glabrous; male sepals 4 or 5, separate, about 1mm long; petals 4 or 5, usually connate into a cup, stamens slightly protruding; female inflorescences arranged in racemes, up to 10cm long; female sepals 2, petals 2, tiny, adnate to sepal base. The drupe is nearly spherical and yellow when ripe. The flowering period is from May to July, and the fruiting period is from July to September. [Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: grows in sparse forests, rocky mountain thickets, forest edges or grass. [Properties] 1. Identification of properties: The root is cylindrical, slightly curved, with a diameter of 0.5-3cm. The surface is dark brown, uneven, with curved longitudinal grooves, transverse cracks and a few root traces. It is hard, grayish white in cross section, with radial texture and small holes. It has a faint smell and a bitter taste. [Chemical composition] The root of Psoralea corylifolia contains cycleanine, curine, isochondredendrine, cyclanoline, berbamine, isotetrandrine and magnoflorine; the stem contains isochondrine, curine and cycleanine. [Identification] Physical and chemical identification (1) Take 1g of crude powder of this product, add 10ml of ethanol, soak overnight and filter. The filtrate was evaporated to dryness, and the residue was dissolved in 4 ml of dilute hydrochloric acid and filtered. Take 1 ml of the filtrate and add 2 drops of modified potassium bismuth iodide test solution to produce a large amount of orange precipitate. Take another 1 ml of the filtrate and add 2 drops of potassium mercuric iodide test solution to produce a large amount of yellow-white precipitate. (Check for bioalkali) (2) Thin layer chromatography Take 10 g of crude powder of this product, reflux it with 50 ml of ethanol for 1 hour, cool it and filter it. The filtrate was concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure, and the residue was dissolved in 5 ml of 20% hydrochloric acid solution and filtered. The filtrate was alkalized by adding ammonia water, extracted with benzene three times, the benzene extracts were combined and concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure, a small amount of residue was taken and dissolved in chloroform as the test solution, and isobarbital, l-curarene and cyclopentane were used as reference substances. Aspirate appropriate amount of test solution and reference solution and spot them on alkaline silica gel G thin layer plate, develop with chloroform-methanol (9:1), with a development distance of 13 cm. Use potassium iodide reagent to spray for color development, and the test solution chromatogram will show spots of the same color at the corresponding positions of the reference solution chromatogram. 【Nature and flavor】 Bitter; Cold 【Meridian】 Lung; Large Intestine; Liver 【Functions and indications】 Clears away heat and detoxifies; dispels wind and relieves pain; promotes diuresis and relieves stranguria. It is mainly used for wind-heat cold, cough, sore throat, diphtheria, toothache caused by wind and fire, enteritis, dysentery, urinary tract infection and urinary tract stones, rheumatic pain, sores and swelling, and snake bites. [Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoction, 10-30g. 【Excerpt】 Chinese Materia Medica Through the detailed introduction of Baijieteng, I believe everyone has a certain understanding and can better improve our common sense in life. |
