[Original form] Perennial herb. There are long rhizomes above ground; the aboveground stem is about 50cm high, with longitudinal stripes, and the leaves are bi- or tripinnate; the petiole is 4-12cm long, with longitudinal stripes, and sparsely covered with short soft hairs; the pinna has 3-9 leaflets; the leaflets are membranous, cordate to oblong-ovate, 3-5cm long, 1-2.5cm wide, with long acuminate tip, rounded to cordate base, with prickles on both sides, denser on veins, with irregular double serrations on the edges, with teeth with prickles, and 5-7 pairs of lateral veins. The panicle is dense, with a long main axis and branches 15-20 cm long; the umbels are arranged in umbrella shapes on the branches, rarely in racemes, with 8-12 flowers; the bracts are linear-lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate; the calyx is glabrous, with 5 triangular sharp teeth on the edge; there are 5 petals; 5 stamens; the ovary has 5 chambers, 5 styles, and is primary. The fruit is spherical, with 5 edges and a diameter of about 3 mm. The persistent style is 2 mm long and fused to the middle. Flowering period is June.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing under forests or in thickets at an altitude of 3100m.
