It is mainly used to treat carbuncle, ulcer, phlegm nodule, scrofula, exogenous wind-heat, initial stage of febrile disease, hot and painful stranguria, etc.

In addition to the above-mentioned effects and functions, it has many other values. Forsythia blooms before its leaves in early spring. It is very bright, playful and cute, with a light and pleasant fragrance. It is often used in landscaping and is very elegant. The flowers and unripe fruits of Forsythia suspensa also have the effect of beautifying the skin. Long-term use can reduce wrinkles and chloasma.
