Characteristics

It is an oolitic, bean-shaped, or kidney-shaped aggregate. Most of them are in irregular thick plates or blocks with edges and corners. Brownish red to dark brownish red or iron blue. Function and indications

Calms the liver and relieves adverse reactions, cools blood and stops bleeding. It is used to treat belching, vomiting, indigestion, nausea, asthma, epilepsy, hematemesis, epistaxis, intestinal wind, hemorrhoids, fistula, metrorrhagia and leukorrhea.
