What are the main functions of Laimahui herbal medicine?

2. Plant morphology: Perennial herb, 10 to 30 cm tall. The root is cylindrical, brown on the surface, with vertical and horizontal wrinkles and intermittent nodules, and the branch roots are thin. The stems are tufted and slightly covered with gray-brown hairs. The leaves are alternate, bitextured, ovate-lanceolate, 1-2 cm long, 0.5-1 cm wide, with obvious lateral veins and fine soft hairs.

3. The racemes are axillary, and the flowers are purple; there are 5 sepals of unequal size, with the inner 2 larger and petal-shaped; there are 3 petals, connected to the stamen sheath at the base, the middle one is larger and keel-shaped, with tassel-like appendages at the tip of the back; there are 8 stamens, and almost all filaments are fused into a sheath; the ovary is superior, with a 2-lobed head of unequal length. The capsule is broadly ovate, concave at the apex, with broad wings on the edges and a persistent calyx. Seeds ovate, densely pubescent. The flowering period is from April to May, and the fruiting period is from May to July.
