Mycoplasma infection is actually a pathogen transmitted through sexual contact. It is feasible to treat it with traditional Chinese medicine, but the choice needs to be based on the patient's condition and physical condition. Mycoplasma infection needs to be treated promptly to avoid transmission to partners and to reduce damage to the body in a timely manner. Mycoplasma infection is a sexually transmitted disease. Mycoplasma can exist in healthy carriers, and the detection rate is higher in promiscuous people, homosexuals, prostitutes, and gonorrhea patients. The more sexual partners one has and the greater the sexual activity index, the higher the infection rate. Under the electron microscope, mycoplasma is flask-shaped or pear-shaped, with a length of 0.6-0.7μm, a width of 0.3-0.4μm near the bottom, and a width of 0.06-0.08μm at the top. There are about 7nm of hairs extending downward from the end. It has no cell wall and is sensitive to drying. The accumulation of its metabolic products is not conducive to its growth and reproduction. Different mycoplasmas have different biological characteristics. The following are Chinese medicine prescriptions for the treatment of mycoplasma infection: (1) 10g of Phellodendron amurense, 10g of Red Peony Root, 10g of Alisma Orientalis, 10g of Zedoariae Radix, 10g of Akebia, 10g each of processed Rumosum, 3g of amber powder, and 10g of chicken gizzard lining. The whole prescription has the effects of clearing away heat and dampness, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, relieving stranguria and relieving pain. For those with severe damp-heat, add gentian and wild yam; for those with toxic heat, add wild chrysanthemum and houttuynia cordata; for those with difficult urination, add verbena and Panax notoginseng powder. (2) Liuwei Dihuang Decoction with modifications: 10 grams of cooked rehmannia, 10 grams of cornus fruit, 10 grams of oriental water chestnuts, 10 grams of plantain seeds, 10 grams of wild yam, 10 grams of curculigo, and 10 grams of eucommia. The whole prescription has the function of nourishing the kidney and relieving stranguria. For those with insufficient kidney yang, add 10 grams of Xianlingpi. (III) Qinglin Decoction: Take appropriate amounts of Polygonum cuspidatum, Smilax glabra, Cyathula capitata, Forsythia suspensa, Taraxacum officinale, Coptis chinensis, Scutellaria barbata, Akebia trifoliata, Dianthus superbus, Astragalus membranaceus, Poria cocos, Salvia miltiorrhiza, and Paeonia lactiflora. Boil in water and take orally. For mild cases, take one dose per day; for severe cases, take two doses per day. It is suitable for patients with mycoplasma infection who are diagnosed with damp-heat stasis and toxic heat syndrome according to TCM diagnosis. (IV) Bushen Tonglin Decoction: 30g of Chinese yam, raw coix seed, Chinese yam, artemisia capillaris, [uimperata root[//, 20g of cooked rehmannia, 15g each of oriental water plantain and cornus fruit, 12g each of plantain seed, 9g each of silkworm cocoon, raw licorice and raw motherwort, 50g of medical stone granules. Decoction in water, 1 dose per day, 7 days as a course of treatment. It is suitable for patients with mycoplasma infection who are diagnosed with kidney deficiency according to TCM diagnosis. |
