Tinnitus: Taking Chinese medicine is effective

Tinnitus is the result of different pathological changes of many diseases involving the auditory system. The cause is complex and the mechanism is unclear. It is mainly manifested as the absence of corresponding external sound sources or electrical stimulation, but the subjective sensation of sound in the ear or brain. Clinically, it is both a concomitant symptom of many diseases and the first symptom of some serious diseases (such as acoustic neuroma).

Main causes

Otorhinolaryngology, cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, neurological disease, patency of the Eustachian tube, vascular lesions, myogenic lesions, temporomandibular joint lesions or malocclusion.

1. Take 15g of Rhizoma Lulutong and 30g of mother-of-pearl (package), decoct in water and drink frequently instead of tea. A course of treatment is 5 days.

2. Take 20 grams of Acorus calamus, 10 grams of raw licorice, 12 grams of Polygala tenuifolia, and 15 grams of Poria cocos, soak for one hour, decoct in water and take twice a day, one dose. A course of treatment is 10 days.

3. Take appropriate amount of Pueraria root and cicada shell, grind them into powder, make into water pills, 6 grams each time, 3 times a day. One course of treatment is one month, and the effect will be seen after two courses.

4. Take 30g each of Bupleurum chinense and Cyperus rotundus, 15g of Chuanxiong and 20g of Longchi, grind them into fine powder, add 1g of musk and mix well, then make into water pills. Take 3 grams orally each time, 3 times a day, with warm water after meals (reduce the dosage for the elderly and children).

5. Take 50 grams of Rehmannia root, 10 grams of Phellodendron chinense, 10 grams of Acorus calamus, and 12 grams of Cornus officinalis. Put the above medicines into a casserole, add 500 ml of water, boil it until it becomes 250 ml and take it warm, one dose a day. It has a good effect on tinnitus and deafness caused by yin deficiency and hyperactivity of fire.

6. Take 20 grams of Ligustrum lucidum, 15 grams of Eclipta prostrata, and 10 grams of mulberry, decoct them in water and take them twice a day, one dose per day, and use it for half a month as a course of treatment. This prescription is used for tinnitus and deafness caused by liver and kidney yin deficiency.

7. Take 30 grams of magnetite, 20 grams of dragon bone, and 25 grams of oyster, one dose per day, decocted in water and taken in two doses. One course of treatment is 10 days of continuous use, and generally 1 to 2 courses are taken.

8. Take 10 grams of fresh reed root, 10 grams of tongcao, and 10 grams of akebia, decoct them in water to extract the juice and drink it as tea until you recover.
