What Chinese medicine should I take for postpartum disease

1. Postpartum women can eat motherwort. Modern medical research has shown that motherwort contains a variety of biological alkaloids such as leonuri, stachydrine, and leonuri, as well as benzoic acid, potassium chloride and other ingredients. Motherwort extract and decoction have a strong and lasting stimulating effect on the uterus, not only enhancing its contraction force, but also increasing its tension, making it suitable for postpartum women. The method of taking is: 15 grams of motherwort, decocted in water, one dose per day; or take motherwort medicine, generally 6-9 grams, twice a day.

2. Boil safflower, rehmannia, myrrh, chaste tree and vitex in water for 20 minutes, add eggs (poached eggs), after they are cooked, put brown sugar in a bowl, add the medicinal soup and eggs, eat the eggs and drink the soup. Take one bowl each time, three times a day. Start taking it on the first day of your menstrual period. (This medicine must be taken during menstruation). It doesn't matter if the medicine is incomplete, it is still effective.

3. Fresh ginger and brown sugar. Mash the ginger into ginger paste, dissolve the brown sugar in water, mix it with the ginger paste, and simmer it over low heat until it becomes a soup. Take one tablespoon each morning, noon, and evening, and continue taking it.

4. Put cooked rehmannia, safflower, myrrh, vitex, praeparata, eggs and brown sugar. Boil cooked rehmannia, safflower, sophora japonica, praeparata and vitex in water for 20 minutes, then crack an egg into the water and cook it into a poached egg. After it is cooked, put brown sugar, the medicinal soup and the egg in a bowl, and eat the egg and drink the soup. Take one bowl each time, three times a day. It must be noted that this medicine must be taken during menstruation, starting on the first day of menstruation.

How to regulate postpartum sweating

1. Take Chinese patent medicine

Yupingfeng Granules, Buzhong Yiqi Pills and Ginseng Yangrong Pills are more suitable for new mothers who have qi deficiency. Shengmai Drink and Qingshen Drink are suitable for new mothers with yin deficiency.

2. External antiperspirant

(1) Oyster powder. How to use it: like talcum powder, apply once a day, it can play the role of nourishing yin and suppressing yang, astringing and stopping sweating.

(2) Gallnut powder. Take 1.5 grams of gallnut powder, moisten it with warm water, apply it to the navel, fix it with adhesive tape, and change it once a day. Gallnut can astringe and solidify the constitution, and the navel is the location of the Shenque point. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the Shenque point is the hidden place of the innate true breath. It is closely related to the vital activities of the human body and is an important point for health care.

3. Take dietary therapy

(1) New mothers with Qi deficiency

Eat less cold foods such as raw melons and cold dishes. Instead, choose foods that strengthen the spleen and warm the middle, and replenish qi and nourish the blood, such as jujube, glutinous rice, yam, lentils, honey, chicken, lamb, crucian carp, chestnuts, etc.

Recommended medicinal food - Loach antiperspirant drink

Ingredients: 90 grams of loach, 30 grams of glutinous rice roots (available at pharmacies).

Preparation method: Kill and clean the loach, and fry it in cooking oil until golden brown. Boil two bowls of water with glutinous rice roots. When the water is reduced to one bowl, add loaches to make soup. Adjust the seasoning when eating and eat the fish and soup together. Take it once every other day, 7 times as a course of treatment.

(2) New mothers with Yin deficiency

Eat less spicy foods that are easy to cause heatiness, such as chili peppers, pepper, raw onions and garlic, and drink less alcohol, especially white wine. Eat more fresh vegetables. You can choose foods that nourish yin, clear heat, promote body fluid and nourish blood, such as tofu, celery, loofah, lily, white fungus, lotus seeds, and wolfberry.
