Inflorescence capitulate, terminal, axillary, solitary or 3-5 arranged in racemes, about 5mm in diameter, increasing in size during fruiting period; peduncle densely covered with rusty pointed short soft hairs; involucre broadly campanulate; involucral bracts unequal in length, with torn edges; marginal flowers in 2-3 rows, female corolla ligulate, white, with 2-3 fissures at the apex of the ligules; disc flowers tubular, bisexual. The achenes of female flowers are flat and have a long beak; the achenes of bisexual flowers are beakless; there are 3-5 pappus that fall off easily. Flowering and fruiting period is from August to November.
