It is used by southerners to make soup, but it is a miracle drug for curing hepatitis

Friends who have experienced the humid weather in the south must be able to understand the discomfort that humidity brings to people. Traditional Chinese medicine theory emphasizes the correspondence between nature and man. In humid seasons, when prescribing medicines, the external weather and environmental changes in the human body are taken into consideration, and some dehumidifying medicines are appropriately selected: Aconitum carmichaelii is one of the commonly used medicines.

The overall appearance of the chicken bone grass is similar to the mimosa we usually see. It is mainly produced in Guangxi and Guangdong provinces of my country. The whole plant is used as medicine. It was first discovered as a folk herbal medicine and was eventually included in the "Lingnan Herbal Medicine Record". Chicken bone grass has a long history of being used in clinical practice to treat various types of hepatitis, and has been made into various dosage forms. The compound chicken bone grass pill recorded in the "Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China" is a commonly used drug for the treatment of hepatitis.

Chicken bone grass is cool in nature and tastes sweet and slightly bitter. It enters the liver and stomach meridians. Function: clearing away heat and dampness, dispersing blood stasis and relieving pain. It is mainly used to treat symptoms such as epigastric distension and pain, urgent need to defecate, dry mouth and bitter taste, fatigue and drowsiness caused by damp-heat in the spleen and stomach; it can also be used to treat jaundice, flank discomfort, acute and chronic hepatitis, mastitis and other symptoms caused by damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder.

The application scope of chicken bone grass can be extended to the oncology profession. In our outpatient clinic, we often use chicken bone grass to treat liver cancer, gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, intestinal cancer, etc. For the common symptoms of bloating and pain in the ribs and epigastric pain in cancer patients, chicken bone grass is often used to disperse blood stasis and relieve pain. The commonly used dosage in clinical practice is 15-30g.

People in the south often use chicken bone grass to make soups, such as chicken bone grass and crucian carp soup, egg and chicken bone grass soup, chicken bone grass and lean meat soup, etc. These are all common delicacies. For the south with a humid climate and people with heavy moisture in their bodies, using chicken bone grass as a diet therapy is a good way to dehumidify. It not only avoids the pain of taking medicine, but also satisfies the temptation of delicious food!
