1. Difference in appearance

The leaves of Thousand-rooted grass are lighter in color, and its stems are dark red, while the leaves of ground ivy are emerald green, the stems are bright red, and the surface is smooth and hairless.

2. Differences in rhizomes

Although the rhizome of the plant ground ivy is not well developed, it is easy to grow adventitious roots when it grows statically, which is the most important difference between the two plants.

Thousand-root Grass mainly grows in lawns or bushes, especially in plains or hillsides formed by alluvial deposits on hillsides, which are the areas where Thousand-root Grass is most likely to grow. The plant ground ivy is relatively strong and does not have many requirements for the growth environment. This plant can be found in most areas of the country.

Thousand-rooted grass and ground ivy are both woody plants that wolves use as medicine, but there are significant differences in their effects when used as medicine. Qiangencao, the medicinal value of this plant is relatively excellent. It can clear away heat and reduce fire, and can also heal sores and relieve itching.
