What are the benefits of Ginkgo biloba?

Do you know ginkgo trees? Sometimes you can see some ginkgo trees on both sides of the roads in some cities. They have straight trunks and fan-shaped leaves. The leaves are green in spring and summer, but I prefer the ginkgo leaves in autumn. They are yellow. Unlike other leaves which are yellow and green, they are pure yellow. In the blink of an eye, they are all yellow. Ginkgo is not only beautiful, but also has high medicinal value. So what are the effects of ginkgo leaves?

effect:

l It has anti-myocardial ischemia effect. Ginkgo biloba total flavonoids can significantly reduce the total amplitude of abnormal ST segment elevation and the number of pathological Q waves in the electrocardiogram of rabbits with acute myocardial infarction caused by ligation of the anterior descending branch of the coronary artery, inhibit the release of creatine phosphokinase in myocardial tissue, and reduce the scope of myocardial infarction.

2. It has anti-cerebral ischemia effect. Ginkgo leaf extract can promote the rapid recovery of ischemic cortical electroencephalogram in the cerebral ischemia model prepared by blocking the bilateral vertebral arteries and common carotid arteries in rats, and reduce the volume of cerebral infarction in rats with middle cerebral artery ischemia-reperfusion model.

3. It has anti-atherosclerotic effects. Ginkgo leaf extract can significantly reduce the percentage of aortic atherosclerotic plaque area, plasma malondialdehyde (MDA) content and nitric oxide (NO) level in rabbits with atherosclerosis model fed with 1% cholesterol.

4. Antiarrhythmic effect. Ginkgo leaf extract can increase the dose of ventricular premature beats, ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation and cardiac arrest induced by jugular vein injection of aconitine and barium chloride in rats, and shorten the duration of action potential.

5. Improves blood rheology. Ginkgo leaf extract can prolong the blood coagulation time of mice, inhibit the formation of blood fiber network, and inhibit platelet aggregation induced by platelet activating factor in vitro.

Not only the leaves of ginkgo are treasures, but the whole body of ginkgo can be said to be a treasure. Some people call the fruit of ginkgo white nut, and it is also white in appearance. I have always wondered if the pistachios sold in supermarkets are this kind of fruit? Everyone should be aware of the effects of ginkgo leaves. If any friends have corresponding symptoms, you can try it to see if it works for you.
