[Source] This product is a pearl formed by the stimulation of bivalves such as the pearl oyster Pteria martensii (Dunker) of the family Pearl Oysteridae, the triple-winged oyster Hyriopsis cumingii (Lea) of the family Clam or the Cristaria plicata (Leach) of the family Mussel . [Properties] This product is spherical, oblong, oval or rod-shaped, with a diameter of 1.5 to 8 mm. The surface is white, light pink, light yellow-green or light blue, translucent, smooth or slightly bumpy, with a unique colorful luster. The texture is hard, and the broken surface shows layered patterns. Odorless and tasteless.

【Identification】 (1) The powder of this product is off-white. Irregular fragments, translucent, with rainbow-like luster. The surface is granular, with several to dozens of thin layers overlapping each other. The lamellar structure is closely arranged, and dense layered lines or extremely fine microwave-like textures can be seen.
