[Original form] Annual perennial herb, covered with small white hairs, 15 to 25 cm high. The stem is slender and hard, with many dichotomous branches. Leaves narrowly linear to aconical, rarely linear-lanceolate, flattened or with margins dorsally rolled. The longer ones are 12-25 mm long, with smaller and more sparse leaves on the upper part; the stipules are long-lanceolate, with long pointed tips, and are about half the length of the leaves. Flowers numerous, dense, terminal, corymbose or cyme, sometimes densely grown at the top of a single stem, sometimes numerous cymes arranged in panicles; bracts membranous; sepals 5, lanceolate, white, membranous, about 2.5 mm long, with long pointed tips; petals 5. Separate, broadly ovate, obtuse at apex, shorter than sepals; stamens 5; short; style short. Aralia, ovate or oblong, shorter than sepals, 3-valved. Flowering period is from spring to autumn.
