【Original form】Plant height 80-90cm. The rhizome is short, erect or ascending, and together with the leaf axis, is covered with black, linear-lanceolate scales. Leaves papery, ovate-lanceolate or lanceolate, acuminate at apex, not narrowed at base, deeply pinnate-lobed twice; lateral pinnae about 20 pairs, alternate; middle pinnae 13-14cm long, lanceolate, acuminate at apex, widest at base, 2.5-3cm, with short petiole, deeply pinnate-lobed; lobes about 20 pairs, blunt at apex, sparsely with triangular teeth; veins bifurcated, obvious beneath. The sporangium is dorsally borne on small lobes, with 4-6 pairs on each lobe; the sori cover is brown and easily falls off when mature.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing under mountain broad-leaved forests at an altitude of 2300-2500m.
