[Original form] Perennial herb. The stem is erect, creeping or oblique, 30 to 100 cm long. Sparsely pubescent when young. Pinnate compound leaves; leaflets 11-25, opposite, obovate or obovate-elliptic, 6-23 mm long, 4-10 mm wide, apex slightly pointed, entire, base cuneate, glabrous above, with white short soft hairs beneath, almost sessile. 8 to 20 flowers are arranged in a dense, head-like raceme, slightly radial; the peduncle is 5 to 12 cm long and sparsely covered with short soft hairs; the corolla is reddish purple, about 1.5 cm long. The pod is cylindrical, erect, 1.5 to 2.5 cm long, 5 to 7 mm wide, slightly flattened on both sides, and with a beak at the tip. Seeds are rectangular, brown-black.

[Habitat distribution] Grown on hillsides, roadsides, and grass. Distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu and other places.
