The dichotomous cymes are terminal or born in the upper leaf axils. The inflorescences and pedicels are covered with short, rough light brown hairs and interspersed with fine glandular hairs. The pedicels are 1.4-2.5cm long. The bracts are very small and the flowers are sparse. There are 6 tepals, which are free, ovate-elliptic to lanceolate, 1.5-2cm long. After opening, they are reflexed downward from the middle and lower parts. They are green-white or white, with many purple-red spots on the inside. The 3 outer segments are wider than the inner segments, extending downward at the base and forming a sac shape. There are 6 stamens, and the middle and upper parts of the filaments are bent outwards with purple spots. The anthers are oblong, dorsifixed, and 2-chambered. The ovary is 3-chambered, and the stigma is 3-lobed. Each lobe has two deep lobes at the upper end, and is densely covered with glandular hairs. Capsule erect, 2-3cm long. The seeds are small, flat, oval or round. Flowering and fruiting period is June to September.
