Simple leaves are alternate; leaf blades are broadly ovate, 6-13cm long, 7-16cm wide, palmately 3-7 deeply lobed, sparsely covered with long stiff hairs and stellate hairs on the upper side, densely covered with stellate hairs on the lower side, with stiff hairs growing on the veins, base truncated or cordate, forming narrow wings along the lower edge of the petiole; lower petiole is 3-6cm long, upper petiole is shorter, covered with stellate hairs and long stiff hairs; stipule sheath is membranous, obliquely short-tubular, with a long tip at the apex, densely covered with stellate hairs and sparse long stiff hairs.
