【Nature and flavor】 Spicy, slightly bitter, cool. poisonous.

【Functions and indications】Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, hemostatic, and antihypertensive. Used for various pains, bruises, and hypertension; used externally to treat bleeding from trauma.

[Usage and Dosage] 3 to 5 fen, take with boiled water; for external use, grind the root into powder and sprinkle on the affected area.
