【Original morphology】Plant height 3-9cm. The rhizome is slender, horizontal, densely covered with lanceolate scales, long and gradually pointed, shield-shaped at the base, and with fine teeth on the edges. Leaves are distal; leaf blades are leathery, with ovate scales at the base and attached to the rhizome at joints, linear, 1.5-3.5mm wide, obtuse at the apex, and strongly recurved at the edges; leaf blades are covered with stellate hairs on both sides, usually caducous on the upper side; leaf veins are reticulate, with no inner veinlets within the reticulate veins.
