It is expected that from 08:00 today to 08:00 on the 22nd , heavy to torrential rain will occur in parts of most of Jianghuai, most of Jianghan, southern Henan, northern and western Hunan, eastern Chongqing, southwestern and central Guizhou, northeastern Inner Mongolia, southwestern and eastern Heilongjiang, and western Jilin. Among them, heavy rainstorms (100-180 mm) will occur in parts of eastern and southern Hubei, western Anhui, northern Jiangsu, northeastern Inner Mongolia, and western Jilin. Some of the above-mentioned areas will be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation (maximum hourly rainfall of 30-60 mm, and more than 80 mm in some places), and strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and gales will occur in some places.

From today to the 24th , there will be heavy rainfall from Guizhou to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It is expected that the southern Huanghuai, Jianghuai, Jianghan, northern Jiangnan, southwestern regions and other places will have moderate to heavy rain from north to south, with heavy rain in some areas and local torrential rain, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, local thunderstorms and strong winds and other strong convective weather; the heaviest rainfall period is from the night of the 21st to the 23rd.

In addition, since 20:00 on the 18th, heavy rainfall has occurred in Huangshan, Anhui Province, with a total rainfall of 250 to 487 mm, and the maximum rainfall in She County was 523.9 mm. In the future, Huangshan will have more rainfall, with light to moderate rain on the 21st, and gradually increasing rainfall from the 22nd. Heavy rains in the Pearl River and Yangtze River basins expanded, and flood conditions worsened

Since the beginning of the flood season this year, Guangxi has entered the concentrated period of "Dragon Boat Water" heavy rain, and rainfall in many places has exceeded historical extremes. In the early morning of the 20th, the Guilin section of the upper reaches of the Guijiang River experienced the largest flood since measured data. Since June 7th, the Pearl River Basin has experienced continuous and large-scale heavy rainfall. As of 12:00 on the 20th, 160 rivers in the Pearl River Basin have experienced floods above warning levels.

The rainfall range in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, which has entered the plum rain season, is also expanding, and the flood situation is increasing. According to the hydrological and meteorological forecast of the Yangtze River Commission, from the 20th to the 25th, there will be heavy rain and local rainstorms from north to south near the main stream of the Yangtze River and the water systems of Poyang Lake and Dongting Lake; from the 26th to the 29th, there will be heavy rain and local rainstorms in the Jialing River, Han River and the north of the main stream of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. From the end of June to the end of early July, it is expected that there will still be continuous rainfall in the Yangtze River Basin.
