At 10 a.m. today (11th), the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue warning for heavy rain: Under the combined influence of the eastward movement of the high-altitude trough and the low-vortex shear system, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will experience heavy to torrential rain in the next 24 hours, with local torrential rain.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from 14:00 on the 11th to 14:00 on the 12th, there will be heavy to torrential rain in parts of western and northeastern Heilongjiang, central Jilin, southern and eastern Beijing, Tianjin, central and southern Hebei and northeastern Shanxi, northern Henan, northwestern Shandong, Guanzhong region of Shaanxi, southeastern Gansu, southern Sichuan Basin, southern and western Yunnan, southern Guangxi, most of Guangdong, southwestern Fujian, northern and southwestern Hainan Island, etc. Among them, there will be local torrential rain (100-180 mm) in central Hebei, southern Tianjin, southwestern Sichuan Basin, coastal areas of southern Guangxi, and southwestern Guangdong.

In addition, the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a typhoon blue warning at 10:00 on the 11th. This year's No. 6 typhoon "KHANUN" (tropical storm level) will move northwest at a speed of about 15 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will gradually weaken. It will move into China's Liaoning Province at night on the 11th (tropical depression, 12-15 meters/second, level 6-7), and it is also possible to weaken and dissipate in the area near the China-North Korea border.

It is expected that from 14:00 on the 11th to 14:00 on the 12th, parts of southern Jilin, western and eastern Heilongjiang will have heavy to torrential rain (50-70 mm).

Since the areas affected by the previous rainstorms overlap greatly, we remind everyone to strengthen prevention and take good defense. We need to pay attention to the following four key points:

1. Heavy rainfall will mainly occur in the area from central Hebei to Tianjin. There will be heavy to torrential rain in central and southern Hebei, southern Beijing, and Tianjin, and local torrential rain in central and eastern Hebei.

2. The main rainfall period is from this afternoon to tomorrow afternoon. In particular, Beijing - from this evening to night; Hebei - from this afternoon to the morning of the 12th; Tianjin - from this daytime to the night of the 12th.

3. The rainfall is unevenly distributed. The rainfall may be accompanied by strong convective weather such as lightning, short-term heavy rainfall, and short-term strong winds, so you need to take precautions.

4. The areas affected by this rainfall and previous heavy rains overlap greatly. The public should be alert to the possibility of heavy rainfall triggering geological disasters and strengthen prevention.
