At 10:00 today (July 3), the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue warning for heavy rain , with heavy rainstorms in some parts of Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu, etc. In the next two days, Liaoning, Jilin and other places will successively experience heavy to torrential rains and local heavy rainstorms, and tomorrow will be the heaviest rainfall period.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from 8:00 on July 3 to 8:00 on July 4, heavy to torrential rain will occur in parts of central and southern Shandong, northern Jiangsu, northern Anhui, eastern and southern Henan, northern and western Hubei, southern Shaanxi, Chongqing, eastern Sichuan, northwestern Guizhou, northeastern Yunnan, and southwestern coastal areas of Guangdong. Among them, torrential rain will occur in some areas of southern Shandong, northern Jiangsu, southern Henan, northern Chongqing, and northeastern Sichuan.

From 8:00 a.m. on July 4 to 8:00 a.m. on July 5, there will be moderate to heavy rain in parts of eastern Inner Mongolia, southern Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, southern Jiangsu and Anhui, southwestern Hubei, northern Hunan, southern Guangdong, northern and western Guangxi, most of Yunnan, and southeastern Tibet. Among them, there will be heavy rain or torrential rain in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, southwestern Heilongjiang, central and western Jilin, central and eastern Liaoning, and southeastern Tibet.

There is a risk of flood disasters in many parts of my country

Since July 1, heavy rain and torrential rain have fallen in Zhenba County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province, with local torrential rain, causing damage and interruption of 80 roads in the county. At 7:17 today, the Hanzhong Meteorological Observatory in Shaanxi Province issued a red warning signal for heavy rain , predicting that the rainfall in Jianchi, Yongle, Qingshui, Sanyuan, Liba, Dachi in Zhenba County, and Yuanjiazhuang and Changjiaoba in Foping County will reach more than 100 mm in the next three hours. At present, Hanzhong has launched a flood control level III emergency response.

From 7:00 on July 2 to 7:00 on July 3, Henan Province experienced heavy rainfall, with heavy to torrential rain in some areas and local heavy rainstorms. There were 168 stations with rainfall exceeding 100 mm, and 110 stations with rainfall exceeding 50 mm in one hour. According to the forecast of the meteorological department, on July 3, heavy to torrential rain will occur in southern Sanmenxia, ​​Nanyang, Pingdingshan, Luohe, Zhumadian, Zhoukou, Kaifeng, Shangqiu, Xuchang, and some counties and cities in northern Xinyang. The Henan Provincial Water Resources Department has initiated a Level IV emergency response for flood and drought disaster prevention.

Recently, the Office of the National Disaster Reduction Committee, the Ministry of Emergency Management and other departments held a meeting to assess the national natural disaster risk situation in July. A comprehensive analysis shows that China's seven major river basins will enter the main flood season, and there is a risk of flood disasters in the Yangtze River, Huaihe River, Taihu Lake and Songliao River basins .

The rainfall intensity in summer is high, the rainstorm lasts for a long time and the area is relatively concentrated.
