The Yibin Lingang Highway-Railway Yangtze River Bridge is located in the east of Yibin City, Sichuan Province. On May 31, with the precise installation of the last section of the steel box girder in the middle span, the Yibin Lingang highway-rail dual-use Yangtze River Bridge was successfully completed!

The bridge is designed as a high-speed railway with four lanes in the middle and a speed of 300 kilometers per hour, and two-way six-lane urban expressways on both sides, with sidewalks and non-motorized vehicle lanes on the outermost side.

After completion, it will create three world firsts: the world's first bridge with a road and high-speed railway on the same level, and the world's widest and largest span steel box girder cable-stayed bridge for both road and railway.

After the opening of the Yibin Lingang Yangtze River Bridge, a spectacular scene of high-speed rail and automobile traffic on the same level will be presented. It will effectively ease the traffic pressure on both sides of the Yangtze River and further promote the integration of the southern Sichuan urban agglomeration into the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle with the help of the Chengdu-Kunming and Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railways.
