State Post Bureau: During the 2024 Spring Festival holiday, 641 million express parcels were delivered nationwide, an increase of 82.1% year-on-year

The State Post Bureau released the test data during the Spring Festival holiday. It is reported that 1.079 billion express parcels were collected during the Spring Festival holiday, and the average daily collection volume increased by 145.2% compared with the Spring Festival holiday in 2023; 641 million express parcels were delivered during the Spring Festival holiday, and the average daily delivery volume increased by 82.1% compared with the Spring Festival holiday in 2023.

Since the start of the Spring Festival travel rush, the national postal express industry has collected 5.655 billion express parcels, an increase of 30.8% over the same period of the 2023 Spring Festival travel rush;

5.994 billion express parcels were delivered, an increase of 21% over the same period during the 2023 Spring Festival travel season.

The State Post Bureau stated that major domestic express delivery companies have gradually ended the Spring Festival mode and network operations have returned to normal mode.

At present, distribution centers and outlets have started operations one after another, and couriers, truck drivers, customer service staff have returned to their jobs to prepare for the upcoming business peak brought about by the return to work and school.
