Luotu Technology: China's mainland display market shipments will reach 12.5 million units in the first half of 2023

According to the latest "Monthly Tracking of the Online Retail Market of Monitors in Mainland China" report released by Loto Technology, the shipment volume of the monitor market in Mainland China was 12.5 million units in the first half of 2023. Among them, the sales volume in the online public retail market (excluding content e-commerce such as Douyin and Kuaishou) was 4.57 million units, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year, and the sales volume was 5.33 billion, a decrease of 9.0% year-on-year.

Monitoring data show that the number of brands on sale in the online market increased from 132 in the first half of 2022 to 181 in the same period of 2023. The continuous influx of new brands has led to fierce competition in the display market and a decline in concentration.

In the first half of 2023, AOC ranked first in China's online display market with a sales share of about 15%. The brands following closely were Xiaomi and HKC , and their rankings remained the same as in the first quarter. The market share of the top three brands exceeded that of Samsung, which ranked fourth, by more than double, with a combined market share of 38.3%, down nearly 3 percentage points from the same period in 2022.

Professional e-sports brands Titan and Serpent are also among the top 10. In fact, HKC and AOC's AGON brand also focus on the e-sports market.

A clear difference from the Top 10 brands in the first quarter is that LG has squeezed into the Top array.

Luotu Technology predicts that China's online monitor retail market will reach 9.32 million units in 2023, approaching a scale of 10 million.
