State Post Bureau: In 2023, the national express delivery volume will exceed 20 billion pieces in just 67 days

According to recent news, monitoring data from the State Post Bureau showed that as of March 8, China's express delivery business volume this year has reached 20.09 billion pieces , 72 days ahead of the 20 billion pieces in 2019 and 6 days ahead of 2022, taking only 67 days.

The State Post Bureau said that since the beginning of this year, all regions and departments across the country have given priority to restoring and expanding consumption, enhancing consumption capacity, improving consumption conditions, and innovating consumption scenarios. The consumer market has shown an accelerated recovery trend, and the pace of steady economic recovery continues to accelerate.

It is reported that this year the national express delivery business volume took 39 days to reach the first 10 billion pieces, and 28 days to reach the second 10 billion pieces, which is 10 days shorter . This not only demonstrates the vigorous vitality and strong momentum of the express delivery industry, but also vividly illustrates that the characteristics of China's consumer market with strong resilience and great potential have not changed, and the long-term positive fundamentals of consumption development have not changed.

In January this year, the 2023 National Postal Administration Work Conference clarified the overall requirements, main expected indicators and key tasks of postal administration in 2023. It is expected that the postal industry's delivery business volume will continue to grow in 2023 , and its ability to meet the people's demand for better postal services will continue to increase; the industry's business revenue will reach 1.43 trillion yuan, an increase of about 6% year-on-year ; among them, the express delivery business revenue will reach 1.13 trillion yuan, an increase of about 7% year-on-year. The satisfaction with postal and express delivery services has steadily improved.
