[Source] Medicinal material source: the whole body of the longitudinal muscle anemone of the Silver Crown Anemone family.

[Original morphology] The body of the long-muscled sea anemone is long and cylindrical. When fully extended, the upper part is trumpet-shaped, the trunk is columnar, slightly narrow, and slightly wide at the base. The body height is 10-50mm (including tentacles), the oral disc is green with yellow radial patterns, the lips are light red, the tentacles are slender, grayish white, pink or light yellow, arranged in 12, 16, 24, 48 lobes, a total of 4 lobes. The body wall is smooth, with only a few small wall holes evenly distributed on the trunk; when stimulated, white or yellowish gunshot threads shoot out from the wall holes. The body wall is brown-green, black-green or olive green, and is distributed with an indefinite number of orange-yellow vertical stripes.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown on rocks in intertidal zones along the coast of the sea and on shells and other attachments in aquaculture plots.
