[Original form] Large-lipped sheep's ear garlic, a perennial herb. Pseudobubles are clustered, oval, and up to 3 cm thick. There are 2 leaves, membranous, elliptical or ovate-elliptical, 4-15cm long, 2-6.5cm wide, with sharp or slightly obtuse tips; the base suddenly narrows into a sheath-like petiole with slightly wavy edges. The scape is erect, far above the leaves; the raceme is sparsely populated with many flowers, and the scape is winged; the bracts are very small, ovate-triangular, about 2mm long; the flowers are large, light purple; the sepals are similar, narrowly oblong, 8-17mm long, 2-3mm wide; the petals are filiform, as long as the sepals; the lip is obovate-oblong, erect, 10-20mm long, 7-12mm wide, rounded at the apex with a short tip, the margin is entire, and there is no callus at the base; the column is curved, about 4mm long, and the proximal column wings are short and round.
