[Discussions by various scholars] "Compendium of Materia Medica" states: "Pengru is a medicine that nourishes the five internal organs and replenishes the essence and qi. Although this medicine nourishes the five internal organs, it replenishes the liver, but the liver is responsible for production and also for the release of qi. If you take too much, the nature and flavor will be biased, the production will be rapid and the release of qi will be excessive, which may cause counter-irritation, and the liver will harm the body. Be careful."
