[Source] It is the root and whole herb of the plant Chrysanthemifolia of the Chrysanthemiaceae family .

[Original form] Perennial herb, 20 to 30 cm high. The stem nodes are obvious, and scale-like leaflets grow on the nodes. Leaves are opposite, often in pairs at the end of the stem, nearly papery; leaf blades are broadly ovate or elliptical, 4-12 cm long, 2.5-5.5 cm wide, obtuse or acuminate at the apex, broadly cuneate at the base, with coarse serrations on the margins and a gland at the tip of the teeth; petiole is 1.6 cm long. The inflorescence is simple, spike-shaped, 4 to 6 cm long, without pedicels and perianth, but with bracts; the bracts are obovate, with 3 teeth at the apex; there are 3 stamens, fused together by the expansion of the connective, with 2 chambers in the middle and 1 chamber on both sides, fully developed, 3-fidence at the apex, elongated into a linear shape, up to 2 to 3 cm long, and milky white; the ovary is ovate. Fruit obovate. Flowering period is from April to June. The fruiting period is from June to July.

[Habitat distribution] It grows in the moist grass with humus on hillsides or under low mountain forests. Distributed in Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei, Sichuan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian and other places.
