[Source] It is the roots and leaves of the white-backed Hubei anemone of the Ranunculaceae family. Harvest in summer and autumn, wash, slice, dry or use fresh.

[Original form] Perennial herb, 30 to 60 cm tall. The whole body is hairy. The roots are conical, dark brown, with fibrous hairs at the top. The stem is erect. The leaves are basal, 3-compound, with oblique ovate or ovate leaflets, 3-9 cm long, 2-8 cm wide, with serrated edges; the stem leaves are smaller, with dense white wool on the back. Cymes terminal; flowers white. Achenes, densely covered with filamentous hairs.

[Habitat distribution] It mostly grows in wilderness grasslands or sparse woods.
