The raceme is terminal, with each pedicel growing in a bract; the bracts are narrowly ovate, 0.8-1.8cm long; the bracteoles are subulate, about 3mm long and 3mm wide; the pedicels are up to 1.2cm long, with the flowers on one side; the calyx is bell-shaped, about 1cm long, densely pubescent, 5-lobed near the base, and the lobes are needle-shaped; the corolla is yellow, 3-3.5cm long, sparsely short-haired, with 5 lobes, nearly equal, and the lobes have dark purple spots; there are 4 fertile stamens and 1 reduced stamen; the disk is annular; the ovary is ovoid, pubescent, 1-chambered, the style is glabrous, and the stigma is 2-lobed.
