The leaves are oblong-lanceolate or broadly elliptic, with short pointed apex, cuneate base, sparsely serrated margins, long-petiolated leaves at the base, and sessile, bract-like leaves on the upper stem. The racemes are arranged in a cone shape; the flowers are small, with 4 white petals. The fruit is flat oval. Seeds broadly oval, flat and smooth.
