Odd-pinnate compound leaves; 9-11 leaflets, obovate-elliptic or elliptical, 4.5-9.5cm long, 2-4cm wide, short acuminate at apex, blunt head, base rounded or broadly cuneate, except for the terminal leaflet, the bases of the other leaflets are slightly asymmetrical, with brown pubescence underneath. The racemes are terminal or axillary, up to 32 cm long; the pedicels and axis are densely covered with rusty short soft hairs; the corolla is white, the wing petals are the same length as the standard petal and the keel petal, and the back of the keel petal tip is sparsely pubescent; there are 10 stamens, monomeric; the ovary is sessile and has yellow short soft hairs. The pods are oblong, 5-10 cm long, about 3 cm wide, glabrous, with transverse veins and narrow wings along the ventral suture. 1-2 seeds.
