The basal leaves are 2-3 times 3-pinnate compound leaves, with leaflets ovate or broadly ovate, 2.4-15 cm long, 1.5-8.5 cm wide, gradually pointed at the apex, cordate at the base, with double serrations on the edges, and only short hairs along the veins on the underside. The panicle is 60 cm long, densely covered with short soft hairs and pus hairs; the bracts are subulate, shorter than the calyx; the pedicel is 1 mm long; the flowers are bisexual or unisexual, dioecious; the calyx is white, 1-1.8 mm long, 5-parted, and the lobes are narrowly ovate; the petals are absent; the stamens are 7-10; the carpels are 2, free. The follicles are about 4 mm long.
