[Clinical Application] Treatment of Kaschin-Beck disease: Soak the root tubers of Chrysanthemum Notoginseng in 30% alcohol to make a 10% tincture; or decoct it into a liquid to make 12.5% ​​and 6.25% (for school-age children) syrups. Take 20-30 ml each time, twice a day, 30 minutes after meals. Among 70 adult patients, after one month of observation, the effective rate reached 88.6%, of which 21 cases (30%) showed significant effect and 41 cases (58.6%) improved. Among 31 pediatric patients, 9 cases showed significant effect and 22 cases improved. In effective cases, joint pain can be relieved after taking the medicine for an average of about 8 days (the shortest is 1 day and the longest is 18 days).
