[Original form] Chrysanthemum is a perennial herb, 60-150cm tall. Stem erect, branched or unbranched, pubescent. The head inflorescence is 2.5-20cm in diameter, of varying sizes, and is grown singly or in groups at the top of the stems and branches; the involucral bracts are multi-layered, the outer layer is green, linear, with membranous edges and covered with soft hairs on the outside; the ligulate flowers are white, red, purple or yellow. Achenes are undeveloped. Flowering period: September-November.
