[Source] Medicinal material source: the stems and leaves of the Celastraceae plant.

[Original form] Six-branched euonymus is a semi-evergreen climbing shrub, with a plant height of 1-2m. Branchlets with 4 fine ridges and densely verrucous lenticels. Simple leaves are opposite; with a short petiole of 1-2mm; leaf blade is papery to leathery, broadly ovate, elliptic or narrowly elliptic, with acute or obtuse apex, nearly rounded or broadly cuneate base, and crenate margin. The cymes are axillary, branched one to two times, with 7-10 flowers. The inflorescence is 1.5-4cm long and slender; the flowers are small, about 6mm in diameter, greenish white, and 4-digitate; the petals are broadly obovate; the stamen filaments are slender, attached to the edge of the disk, which is flat and has rounded lobes on the edge. The capsule is oblate, about 8mm in diameter, slightly with 4 concave lines, and turns dark brown after drying. The flowering period is April-May, and the fruiting period is August-September.
