For treating colds, sore throats and tonsillitis: Boil 9-30g of Solidago asiatica in water and drink.

For whooping cough: 15g each of Solidago asiatica, Herba Lungae, and Herba Lycopodii, and 6g of Pheretima, decocted in water and taken orally.

To treat headache: Boil 9 grams of Solidago asiatica in water and drink.

Treat vomiting and diarrhea caused by heatstroke: 15 grams of Solidago asiatica and 3 camphor leaves, decoct in water and drink.

For treating injuries from falls: decoct 15-20g of Solidago root in water and drink.

To treat snake bites: decoct 50g of Goldenrod in water, add 50g of honey and drink together; or mash the Goldenrod and apply it, or wash with the decoction.

For the treatment of tinea pedis, onychomycosis and tinea pedis: use 50-100g of Solidago asiatica every day, decoct the juice and then wash the affected area for half an hour each time, 1 to 2 times a day, and one course of treatment is seven days.

For the treatment of jaundice: 75g of Solidago asiatica and 25g of Syringa japonica. Take after decoction in water.

3. Taboos on eating goldenrod
