[Source] It is the whole herb of the Umbelliferae plant. Harvested from April to June.

[Original form] White-haired cilantro, also known as: plum-leaved cilantro.

[Habitat distribution] It grows in relatively moist places such as roadsides, grasslands, ditches and lake beaches. Distributed in Anhui, Jiangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan and other places. Produced in Jiangxi.

[Properties] The whole plant is mostly tangled in dried balls, with roots growing from the nodes. They are very thin, yellow-brown, and often curled and bent. The stem is thin and twisted, with fine longitudinal lines on the surface, about 0.1 cm in diameter, yellow-brown to brown, easy to break, and light yellow in cross section with visible brown dot-like vascular bundles. The leaves are curled up into a ball, pale green or burnt yellow, and when unfolded, sparse white hairs can be seen underneath. Sometimes the flowers and fruits are seen in small balls. It has a slight fragrance and a light, slightly spicy taste.

[Functions and indications] Treat sand stranguria, jaundice, hepatitis, nephritis, liver-fire headache, and conjunctivitis.

[Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoct in water, 1 to 2 liang; or boil into a paste.
